2022 Wrapped: A Year in Review

What a difference can one year truly make? As the year comes to an end, it is the perfect time to look back on the best events that we hosted and attended, the successful customer stories we completed, and the expert product updates we shared on our blog. We do not just want to impress you with our accomplishments but also to inspire you to see how we can all achieve a lot in such a short amount of time.

Growth Through Expansion

Early this year, we announced the GyanSys acquisition of Groundswell. Acquisition for us means strengthening resources, investing in our product offerings, and providing all GyanSys customers with an onshore and offshore operating model with access to cost-effective commercial models, alongside onshore advisory services. As one of the top Salesforce partners in RCG, Franchise and Distribution, and Tech industries, we hope to be one of the top-performing GyanSys Salesforce teams and expand our US footprint.

GyanSys also visits our Canada office several times a year. In November, GyanSys leadership came to Vancouver to share the company vision for 2023 and celebrate team accomplishments.

Sponsoring & Attending Events

At Groundswell, we love to attend events around the world and in our backyard. For the third year in a row, was to sponsor and attend CMD-F, British Columbia’s largest all-women hackathon. 

Our team led by our Marketing Cloud Product Lead, Gerauld Rivera, held the first hybrid meetup of the Vancouver Salesforce Marketer Group (Marketing Cloud). It was a great evening to meet and connect with marketing professionals in our community who share our passion for Marketing Cloud. You can join the group here.

We also had our Experience Cloud Product Lead, Savio Jose, present an extended version of the Best Practices for Data Security in Experience Cloud at the Vancouver Community Group event. Thanks to all who could attend in person and remotely, we loved the energy and participation!

When it comes to expanding our US footprint, we never miss the opportunity to travel to events and connect with our international teams and customers alike. This year, we got the opportunity to attend two great Salesforce events. It was fantastic to be back in person, and we had many memorable moments and takeaways.

Salesforce Connections

Our Sales team was there to represent Groundswell in Chicago this year. We not only live-tweeted Connections 22 every chance we got using Salesforce’s #CNX22, but also shared so many highlights of all things Salesforce on our Instagram page. We also hosted meetings and an amazing party at the Chicago Oyster House. It was great to meet up with our old friends and clients face to face, and also make new partnerships.

Dreamforce

This year’s DF22 was one of our most awaited events for Groundswell. We not only hosted a client breakfast at Leo’s Oyster Bar with over 20 customers present, but we also hosted cocktail parties with over 150 of our customers and partners in attendance. Groundswell Partners & Success Stories

Our team has not only received around 100 new certifications in 2022 but also worked around 80,000 hours in 2022, reaching a total of over 500,000 hours of Salesforce expertise! This was not possible without our amazing clients and our ongoing partnerships over the years. We are thrilled to see the continued success and scaling of their businesses to be ready for any and all challenges.
