Here at Groundswell Cloud Solutions, we are a team passionate about pushing the boundaries of what the cloud can do. With an ever-growing client base since 2012, we are constantly searching for new, value-oriented team members and are looking forward to riding the waves of the future as we continue to grow and scale.
The interview process is a pivotal component at the beginning of a new relationship between a candidate and us. We believe that transparency, respect and integrity are critical, not just on a day to day basis, but especially during these life-affirming moments where one is looking to transition into a new role/company.
Typically, the interview process consists of four steps, and they happen either in person, over the phone or via video, so that we can connect with candidates from around the globe:
- Conversation with our Talent Team
- Interview with the Hiring Manager
- Interview with the Hiring Team member/s
- Assignment (technical or non-technical, depending on the role applied for)
Finding Each Other
Our Talent Team is continuously scanning resumes. If you meet the role requirements, we will contact you within two weeks of receiving your application, inviting you for the first conversation.
After our initial chat, the entire journey should take two to three weeks for you to become a Groundsweller, being mindful of different time zones and schedules, as we interact with people from all corners of the world.
We follow Values-based hiring and are passionate about our hiring process. To us, this is a crucial part of scaling the company on the core pillars of Trust, Passion and Teamwork. The interview process gives you opportunities to interact with the team you will be a part of and various people from the company. The interviews are conversational, focused on creating engaging interactions, and facilitate mutual discovery.
Step 1: Conversation with our Talent Team
This first conversation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. You get to know about our distinctive culture, team structure and receive a greater understanding of the role you’ve applied for, our expectations around providing exceptional customer service, and the next steps in the process. We get to know about your abilities, your values, your inspiration and motivators, and other unique elements that comprise who you are as an individual.
Steps 2 & 3: Conversation with Hiring Manager and Hiring Team
Upon having a conducive discussion with the Talent Team, the following two conversations will immerse you deeper in getting a feel for our culture and our work. You will meet your future colleagues, converse about the complex projects that we do, how we do it, and why. You will have a chance to share with us your ideas and find answers to any questions you might have. We will also provide more context on your role with Groundswell and opportunities for professional development and growth.
Step 4: Assignment
The assignment stage provides a spotlight that your spirit of curiosity has been looking for and is an opportunity for you to showcase your skills to solve a hypothetical business problem.
We will send you a business case scenario, for which you come up with a solution, build a small presentation showcasing the how what and why of your solution, and present it to the Hiring Team (including members of the Exec Team) during an in-person or video conversation. It’s that simple.
You will have ample time to prepare, at least seven days, to work at your own pace. We are always there to support you through the entire process. Should you run into obstacles along the way, feel free to reach out to us. We are more than happy to help.
In case this relationship does not come to fruition the first time around, do not be discouraged—we will provide you with actionable feedback so that you may take away concrete inputs that can aid your professional development. We will also make sure to stay in touch with you for future opportunities as we grow.

We look forward to meeting you!
